Fifth edition of the living nativity
Unique in Catalonia
December 26, 28, 29 and January 1! Don’t miss the fifth edition of the Living Nativity at Món Sant Benet.
This ambitious and unusual nativity scene combines the representation of classic scenes by a hundred actors with state-of-the-art effects such as video projections.
Apart from the recreation of the traditional nativity scenes (the birth, the annunciation, the adoration…), the Món Sant Benet representation incorporates a multitude of scenes from the Middle Ages, ranging from the monastic life that took place within the walls of the monastery to the recreation of daily scenes focusing on the people of the town.
Actress and theatre director Tàtels Pérez is the director, with production support from Sara Manzano. The Living Nativity is the result of the collaboration of many volunteer actors and actresses from the region who come together every year to create a magical activity.
Featuring large format projections
Video-projections, historical setting, interaction with the actors, an incomparable setting and the novelty of a living nativity scene set in medieval times ensured a unique charm for this presentation, which has already enjoyed four hugely successful editions.
