Món Sant Benet, a facility managed by the Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation, is committed to real integration into the natural environment that hosts it, and is now taking a step further with the installation of photovoltaic panels on the roof of the Hotel Món. The intervention has a second phase that has already begun and consists of the installation of a second system of plates on the roof of the Factory building.

The aim of the intervention is to make the complex as self-sustaining as possible in terms of energy using solar energy. And also to generate ecological supply systems that are committed to the natural environment that embraces the equipment.

The latest improvements applied both to the Hotel Món and to the different congress spaces in Món Sant Benet are moving towards a clear commitment to turning Món Sant Benet into an increasingly sustainable facility that is committed to the environment. It is thus in line with one of the priorities of Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation, the conservation of the environment and nature.

These measures also include the installation of a new, lower-consumption heating system and the installation of two electric vehicle charging points at the Hotel Món, which are part of the Porsche Destination Charging. In fact, the Hotel is the only space in Bages included in this circuit, which has only 4 points in all of Catalonia, and which allows Món Sant Benet to be part of the international routes of the prestigious Porsche brand.
